Touch screen has been industrially a human-machine interface and is a new computer input device. Generally, the industrial touch screen is generally classified into a resistive type, a capacitive sensing type, an infrared type, and a surface acoustic wave type according to materials.
Resistive touch screens are controlled using pressure sensing. The screen is thin and can be displayed by any object touch, but it is easy to be scratched.
The capacitive inductive touch screen works with the current sensing of the human body. High resolution, light transmittance, etc. can meet all requirements, but the insulating medium can not work.
The infrared touch screen detects and locates by using infrared switching. The user selects the baffle with good light transmission performance and anti-reflective treatment, which can get a good visual effect. However, due to the limitation of the volume of the infrared emission tube, it is impossible to emit high-density infrared rays, so the resolution of such a touch screen is not high.
A surface acoustic wave type touch screen is a kind of ultrasonic wave, a mechanical energy wave that propagates in a shallow layer on the surface of a medium such as a rigid material such as glass or metal. The technology is stable, and the controller of the surface acoustic wave touch screen calculates the touch position by measuring the position of the decay time on the time axis, so the accuracy is very high. However, it requires a high working environment. When dust in the air covers the reflective strips or transducers around the touch screen, it will affect the correct positioning of the system.

1. If you are using a capacitive touch screen, it is recommended that you first correctly install the driver required for the capacitive touch screen according to the instructions of the manual, and then click “Start” on the screen with your finger. / "Program" / "Microtouch Touchware" to run the screen calibration program. After the calibration is completed, the system automatically stores the calibrated data in the controller's register. After restarting the system, there is no need to calibrate the screen.
2. When using a resistive touch screen, if you find that the cursor does not move or can only move in a local area, you can check whether the touch area of the touch screen is pressed by other touch objects, for example, once the touch screen is pressed by the display case or the cabinet case. It is equivalent to a point being touched all the time, then the coordinate position fed back to the controller is not accurate, and the cursor can of course not be correctly positioned. If the cabinet case is pressed against the touch area, you can increase the distance between the cabinet and the monitor screen. If the display case is pressed against the touch area, you can try to loosen the screws on the display case.
3, in order to ensure the normal operation of the touch screen system, in addition to ensuring the correct installation of the system software, you must also remember not to install two or more touch screen drivers on a host, which will easily lead to system operation. A conflict has occurred that prevents the touch screen system from functioning properly.
4. If the display resolution or display mode of the touch screen is changed again when the capacitive touch screen is operated in the middle, or the refresh frequency of the touch screen controller is adjusted by itself, it is necessary to re-touch the touch screen when the cursor does not correspond to the touch point. The system performs a calibration operation.
5, once the system is changing the display resolution, adjusting the screen size and the first installation, there will be clicks or drifts, you need to start the positioning program in the application to relocate, but when you are positioning, the most It is good to use a thinner pen or fingertip for positioning, which is more accurate.
6. If the surface acoustic wave touch screen is touched by hand or other touch object, the touch screen response is very slow. This indicates that the touch screen system is old, the internal clock frequency is too low, or the water droplets on the surface of the touch screen are moving. In order to restore the touch screen quickly, you must replace or upgrade the system, or use a rag to dry the water on the surface of the touch screen.
7, do not let the surface of the touch screen water droplets or other soft things stick to the surface, otherwise the touch screen is easy to mistakenly believe that the surface of the sound wave screen is not allowed to touch. Also, when removing dirt from the surface of the touch screen, you can carefully wipe it from the center of the screen with a soft dry cloth or detergent, or clean the touch screen surface with a dry soft cloth dampened with industrial alcohol or glass cleaner.
